Award in Mentoring

This qualification allows you to understand the role of the mentor and be aware of the skills needed to become a mentor. You will become aware of the specific skills and understanding that is required as well as reviewing your own learning and work performance.

Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.

These are ideal qualifications if you wish to work in a school environment. You will attend classes here at Britannia Apprenticeships and undertake a voluntary or paid placement in a school of your choice.
To enable you to have your placement, you will need to have a DBS check. There is a requirement for you to attend your placement a minimum of 1 day a week and for Level 2 and for 3 days for your Level 3.

Level 2 Children and Young People’s Workforce

This qualification is to guide and assess development of knowledge and skills relating to the children and young people's workforce and will provide progression to the Early Learning and Childcare, Social Care and Learning Development and Support Services workforces. This qualification confirms competence under supervision in these areas where appropriate and serves as a progression pathway to the required qualification at Level 3 and above (for all new practitioners) for registration and regulatory requirements in the sector.
