Customer Service Level 2 / 3 Entry requirements:

Intermediate Apprenticeships entry requirements:

You must be aged 16+ and not be in full time education. There are no other specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification: However, learners may find it helpful if they have already achieved a Level 1 qualification.

One of the most popular Apprenticeships in the UK, the customer service industry covers many sectors and job roles that are relevant to Intermediate Apprentices.

There are a wide variety of other job roles that are complemented by customer service skills at this level and that could benefit those choosing to undertake the Customer Service Intermediate Apprenticeship.

Those Apprentices completing their Intermediate Apprenticeship can go on to further training and education such as the Advanced Apprenticeship in Customer Service or other Advanced Apprenticeships where customer service plays an important part e.g. Business Administration.

Advanced Apprenticeship entry requirements:

  1. 4 GCSEs at grades A*- C (plus a minimum grade D in English and maths)
  2. Completion of relevant Apprenticeship programme at Level 2 or minimum or one year industry experience in the same area of work as you wish to study
  3. You must pass an initial assessment in English and maths

A Customer Services Apprenticeship will help you develop the skills to provide excellent customer service which can be applied to hundreds of job roles across many different sectors. Good customer service is key to the success of any business or organisation. This vital skill is needed everywhere and covers all the extras that make a client’s experience better. You often work at the front end of an employer’s business activities and regularly assist customers. Duties will vary, but in most cases you’ll be making sure that people are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant way – whether that’s by offering advice on products and services, handling enquiries or even dealing with complaints professionally.
